Terms of Service for Client Engagements
Last updated: 2026-05-04
These terms govern any service contract entered into between Altair Studio and a professional client (B2B). They are completed by a project-specific quote signed by both parties.
Scope
Altair Studio offers web design, Next.js development, brand identity and SEO services. Detailed deliverables are described in the quote attached to each project.
Quotes and order
Each project starts with a written quote. The quote becomes binding once signed by the client and confirmed by Altair Studio. Without signature, quotes are valid for 30 days.
Delivery
Delivery timelines are best-effort estimates indicated in the quote. They may be extended by client feedback delays, late content delivery, or third-party blockers.
Pricing and payment
Prices are stated in the quote in EUR or USD. Standard payment terms: 30% deposit at order, balance due on delivery. Invoices are payable within 30 days net.
Late payments incur interest at the European Central Bank rate plus 10 percentage points and a fixed indemnity of €40 per invoice (art. L441-10 Code de commerce). VAT is not applicable, art. 293 B du CGI.
Intellectual property
All deliverables remain the property of Altair Studio until full payment. Once the final invoice is paid, the client receives a non-exclusive, worldwide, transferable license to use the deliverables for the agreed purposes. Source code is delivered without restriction once paid in full.
Altair Studio retains the right to display non-confidential aspects of the work in its portfolio, unless a non-disclosure agreement provides otherwise.
Liability
Altair Studio commits to a best-effort obligation. Total liability under any project is capped at the amount actually invoiced for that project.
Altair Studio is not liable for indirect damages, loss of revenue, loss of data, or downtime caused by third-party services (hosting, CMS, payment, analytics).
Personal data
Processing of personal data submitted through the contact form is described in the privacy policy. For project work, both parties commit to GDPR compliance for any personal data they exchange.
Termination
Either party may terminate for material breach by the other party, after notice and a 15-day cure period. Work completed up to termination remains payable.
Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be solved amicably falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Paris, France.
