Published February 23, 2026
Every B2B website redesign that gets stuck got stuck on one of fifteen things. This is the checklist we run on every project at Altair Studio before we ship.
Strategy
- Positioning sentence signed off by the founder, not just marketing
- Single primary buyer named, with a written reason why
- Existing analytics audited; top organic URLs preserved
- Migration plan for existing rankings reviewed before any URL changes
Content
- Hero copy and CTA microcopy locked before design
- Pricing decisions made before the pricing page is built
- Case study template that the marketing team can fill without a developer
- Legal pages drafted by a lawyer or reviewed by one
Technical
- Lighthouse performance score above 95 on mobile
- Structured data covering Organization, Service, FAQPage, BreadcrumbList
- Hreflang tags if the site is bilingual
- Sitemap and robots.txt reviewed
- Open Graph and Twitter card images per locale
Launch
- Google Search Console verification ready before DNS cutover
- Old URL redirect map signed off
If any of these is unfamiliar territory, that is what a free conversion audit covers. We will run the checklist against your current site and tell you which items move the needle for you.
